I prefer digital images straight out of the camera. Please try to find the image of your pet before it has been manipulated by a software program that often comes with your digital camera. e-mail me if you are having a hard time finding them on your computer. 

The problem with camera software is that it takes the photo and reduces the resolution so that you can easily and quickly upload it to the web. It is usually a resolution of 72. The resolution I need is at least 250 pixels per inch and the picture size should be at least 6 x 8 inches.

Your pet portrait will look better if I have a detailed image to work from. The more I can see of the detail of your pet, cat or dog the better the final portrait will be. I can only paint what I can see.

My older work was done in traditional oil on canvas. Now I am working in digital art. Every stroke is hand painted with a special palette and pen. My customers have never been disappointed in my work and you can always write to be or call me to give me input.
